In this video tutorial I show you how to take the proper measurements to make your own binding for a quilt. This video covers beginner sewing & quilting techniques. I show you how I attach shorter strips of the binding fabric to make one long continuous strip, how to attach it to your quilt, mitering the corners and finishing the binding edges. There are tons of different ways of making and attaching your binding. I do not claim this method to be the "right" way of doing binding.
