How To Make a Monkey Rag Quilt: A tutorial Tube. Duration : 2.77 Mins.


Used: 1 yard monkey fabric, 2 yards brown fabric, brown thread, scissors, seam ripper, sewing machine. Making: Cut 7 1/2 inch squares (15 each) alternate sewing them wrong sides together leaving an 1 & 1/4 inch salvage to cut later on. Sew all panels together. Cut salvage in 1/2 inch increments through out quilt. Cut backing the same size as the quilt round edges by tracing a dinner plate along the edge. Sew together leaving a 1 & 1/4 inch salvage. Cut salvage in 1/2 inch increments. Wash and dry (this is what makes the frills look cool) Give to your baby to love or give as a gift!
